6th Grade immunization (Tdap) clinics are coming
During the week of April 22, 2013, Nurses from the Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department and Laramie County School District1 are sponsoring immunization clinics for 6th grade students. These clinics will be offering Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) for students at school. Tdap vaccine is required for all entering 7th grade students in order to be in compliance with Wyoming’s school immunization law.
No student will be denied the vaccine(s), but a small donation of $10 for each shot will be accepted to help defray the cost of the service by the Health Department.
Please make checks out to: Laramie County Treasurer.
For your student to receive these vaccines at school, PARENTS MUST REVIEW THE FORMS SENT HOME FROM SCHOOL, ANSWER ALL QUESTONS ABOUT YOUR STUDENT AND SIGN PERMISSION.
PLEASE SEE THE DEADLINES ON THE FORMS WHICH WILL BE SENT HOME. STUDENTS CANNOT RECEIVE THE IMMUNIZATION WITHOUT COMPLETED PAPERWORK.
